Well, are blogger journalist? We know journalist is an occupation. Journalist is some one who find out the sources on the issues that they had been assigned to. They will write out an published it for everyone to know. In the other hand, bloggers are those who are willing to share things or views on themselves to others via online.
In my view, blogger is not a journalist. They merely provided something they felt about. We know that sometimes the news reported by the journalist could be altered or written based on their own perspective too. It is undeniable as we humans tends to have our own view and understanding.
Blog started by just for personal writing just like writing diaries. Nowadays, it is a lifestyle to have a blog. people are more free to write out on what their want to say. Some people will post what they think upon a certain issues that happening. We often views things through our eyes. It is our nature as when we see something that we disagree at, we voice out to defend it. To me, bloggers are just people who express themselves rather than a journalist. Journalist are paid for what they write but bloggers aren't. Although sometimes the things that bloggers write arouses some action, it is uncontrollable.
Anyway, I do think that bloggers should know their limits. As there are things which should not be discussed lightly. People can get into lawsuit just like that. It is not worth it just to express yourself which end you up in a lawsuit, right?
Yeah, most of the blogger around writing in their blog like writing diaries. Blog has became the modern day diary. People express their feeling and reflection, share their finding and so on. It is a place for everyone to share. As a result, anyone can blog, as long as they can write. It means that we can hear different opinion from different point of view. Among the million bloggers, only small percentage of them really get overwhelming attention of the world, these bloggers are those who are really excel in writing. They write things that can touch people's heart.
ReplyDeletewell, to me , although blogger does blog, but some of their work are as qualified as the journalist or may even be better. Who knows one day bloggers do get paid for writing a blog as this had already been done by some of the blogging website. As a conclusion, some blogger's blog does worth to be read.
ReplyDeleteTo me, blogs, especially blogs that write about the latest news and events, are worth reading. Although their grammar might be wrong or their essays are not as good as a journalist, we could see things in different perspective through reading their blog.
ReplyDeleteThis is better if compare to reading the newspapers, for newspaper usually write what they want us to think and understand. To me,it is another form of brain washing.
