From the video about the Arab, Arab actor always the assasin, the rich one, bad one, the one to be stupid and dangerous and etc. This are all the characteristics that being potrayed by Arabian in the media.

There are stereotype about asian and asian Amerika:

"Even in today's society, minorities are being stereotyped in movies and sitcoms. One minority that is largely stereotyped are Asians and Asian Americans. They are seen as immigrants, not as citizens, who hardly know any English. They are also seen as gang members who know karate, greedy businessmen and grocery/restaurant owners. Asian men and women also have distinctive stereotypes. Asian men are seen as submissive and feminine like, usually the White overpower them and the Asian men are seen as "wimps." On the other hand, they are seen as violent and all know karate and are involved in gang relations. One example of an Asian man shown as submissive is a silent film I viewed in an Asian film class last semester called The Cheat. It shows a wealthy Asian man involved in American society and doing things with women, like charity benefits, etc. He also tries to seduce a woman but fails. In films, Asian women are seen as sexual beings, they are shown as exotic and sensual. Usually the women will be involved with a White man and will choose a White man over an Asian man but to find their heart broken by the White man. This is called the "Madame Butterfly" stereotype because of the story of the play Madame Butterfly. An example of a film showing Asian women as sexual beings is The World of Suzie Wong. For me, stereotype I have noticed in the media are women through the magazine, advertisement, movie, tv series and so on. The women is always the pretty, sexy, the weak and helpless one, the face with no achne and pimples, with thick or natural make up, with nice smile, fair skin, some with handsome male partner or for the movie any kind of male and women are always the one to do the cores and to take care of the children in movie, TV series, advertisement and etc.

In fact, women in the real world does not look like that, they have pimples, pores, some without make up, without fair skin, they are not weak or any other things that we can see them to be so perfect through the media. With all sort of perfection on the women, it actually made the males to try to search for this kind of women that they actually don exist in the world, or maybe there are a few of them but no one is perfect.
This show that the media have the ability to ''brainwash" the people.

From the video above show that the media has degraded the women in sports.
The fact is, women can play sports as the males do and please do not judge women based on what they have been potrayed from the media.
