Blogger and Journalist are basically alike. They research, experience and write about it. But what they are writing is different. Blogger normally write about what they had experienced and in addition, their thoughts and opinions about certain event, which are very informal. Journalist writes about the information they collected from certain events, people or issues and write it formally, just like reporters.
Sometimes, Bloggers do provide more accurate information compare to Journalist. This is because Bloggers write what they want and they don't have to care about anything else. Whatever they know, they just post it.
Journalists don't. Especially reporters, which they need to protect their job and sometimes even protect their superior by didn't expose what they know. This is because they write to live and they need to survive.
One good example to compare both Blogger and Journalist is current famous issue. The bloggers just write anything they know and felt without any fear as they have nothing to lose. Journalists have to keep some information from expose as they have to keep their job well. I believe it's not their choice, they have no choice at that moment.
One more thing, Journalist mostly write about one particular event in very serious way. However, blogger do it like one relaxing and can take photographs of that event. So, in my opinion, Blogger and Journalist are different.
I agree with you. Journalist sometime really have no choice but to write under others order where they cannot write about the truth.
ReplyDeleteAnd another thing also, blogger write as how they like, in relaxing state or their own mood like how am I when I was blogging.
I agree with you. Journalist sometimes have no say in what they can write, even if they want to object the topic, they are not allowed too. Bloggers can write whatever they want without fear because they are anonymous online.
